i was almost ready to give a sparkling review until i realized the road noise was absolutely relentless, so i had to use earplugs, how quaint. to top it off, my supposed double room felt smaller than a shoe box! i woudl ve thought a welcome gift might have been in order.

The mini fridge with complimentary beverages was a welcome surprise, and the hearty Scottish breakfast options really hit the spot without needing to venture out for a meal. Proximity to public transportation made it a breeze to get around.
The road noise from the busy street was relentless, so much so that I had to use the supplied earplugs just to catch some sleep. Maneuvering into the tight parking area was tricky, especially during peak traffic hours-it’s best to approach from the east. The bathroom ceiling had a moldy appearance, and the electric shower turned out to be more worrisome than helpful. The mattress felt pretty worn, and the overall décor seemed to carry the weight of its age, which didn't do much for the comfort factor while lounging or sleeping.

missingWrote a review on Jul 24attentive staffwell-appointed roombusy streetentrance difficultybreakfast execution
The room was well appointed, featuring a mini fridge and kettle that added a nice touch to the stay. The staff were attentive, ensuring that essentials like an iron and ironing board were ready upon arrival. the venue's proximity to a busy street made accessing the entrance tricky during peak times, and the noise from outside was noticeable at times. Although the breakfast was hearty, it could benefit from a more refined execution, as the haggis was not up to par with expectations.
